While safety is critical to both the success of our clients’ projects and the strength of Conart Engineer’s, is individual worker well-being that drives us. We achieve results by pushing safety and health means and methods well beyond established industry standards.

Zero Accident Policy - We strive to provide safe and healthy working conditions and to establish and insist upon safe practices at all times, by all employees and subcontractors.

Our philosophy is that each and every Incident/accident is preventable. We robustly adhere with all regulations set forth by client and governmental agencies.

We ensure safety cultures by conducting periodic safety awareness meetings and safety trainings for all the project participants

Safety Training

To make certain that every project is conducted as safely as possible, our field engineers and superintendents receive training in the following:

  • Confined Space.
  • Steel Erection.
  • Fall Protection.
  • Crane Awareness.
  • Excavation.
  • First Aid.
  • CPR.
  • Hazard Communication.
  • Infection Control Risk Assessment (healthcare).
  • Sediment / Erosion Control.

Safety Planning

Rigorous preconstruction planning is the key to safety on our projects. Our project teams conduct a project hazard assessment to identify normal and extraordinary risk at each stage of the construction process. We communicate this plan to the trade contractors as the basis of their individual safety plans.

Project Delivery

The core values and business philosophies Conart has successfully employed for more than four decades match the foundation for today's Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), Lean Construction and Design/Build methodologies. Our founders believed that the only way for a project to succeed is through collaboration and respect for people.

Collaboration between ourselves, our clients, the architects and consultants, and the key trade contractors; team commitments to agreed-upon essential principles and goals; and fully integrated project workflows that utilize the best available technology to ensure efficiency and eliminate waste, are the keys to project success and customer delight.

Conart champions green not because it is fashionable, but because ensuring the well-being of our environment for future generations is simply the right thing to do—and it makes good business sense for us and our clients.

We are serious about our responsibility to preserve Earth's limited resources and maintain our status as a good resident of the environment.
